Injuries are continuing to pile up for the Vancouver Canucks.
Winger Nils Hoglander is being evaluated for a lower-body injury suffered late in Tuesday night's game against the San Jose Sharks, head coach Adam Foote told reporters after Wednesday's practice.
It's unclear how Hoglander suffered the injury, though he only played three shifts in the third and did not play in the final six minutes.
He ended the 5-2 loss with 11:05 of ice time with one shot on goal and one hit.
The 25-year-old Swede has struggled to produce this season, registering only two assists in 18 games while averaging a career-low 11:32 of ice time a night.
He missed the first two months of the season after sustaining a pre-season ankle injury, which required surgery.
The Canucks are last in the NHL with a 17-31-5 record and have lost nine of their last 10 games.
